ABOUT US
The original clinic resided in one room. It consisted of an exam/surgery table which stood in the middle, two chairs for clients at one end, and the receptionist who literally sat in a closet. A second room housed the doctor, office manager and 4 dog crates. The west end of the current treatment room was originally covered with cork, one of the oldest most sustainable and effective insulators. The cabin was modified for clinic use in 1997 and, with a sign stuck in a bucket of sand, the Chena Ridge Veterinary Clinic opened its doors. In 1999, the first addition was built to create a much needed surgical suite. As the clientele continued to grow, radiology equipment was considered an essential diagnostic tool and so a second addition was planned. In 2002 the clinic expanded again. The new addition would enlarge the reception area, the exam area and provide specifically constructed space for radiology services. When Dr. Battig begin working towards a veterinary dental specialty, which she completed in Mar 2011, a decision was made to add a second veterinarian to assist with the general practice and allow Dr. Battig to devote more time to pet dentistry and oral surgery. Today, the Chena Ridge Veterinary Clinic has a full complement of highly trained veterinarians, veterinary technicians and support staff . . . The CRVC Team! |
